...of chiropractors!
A few weeks ago a friend of mine recommended a chiropractor to me that has a masseuse in the office. I finally made an appointment, which I went to yesterday.
Here's a little background.
I had a chiropractor years ago that was horrible. I felt like I was in a one size fits all situation. I also never knew that insurance companies may cover a therapeutic massage in conjunction with the massage. Move forward to my Ohio life. I found a wonderful Chiropractor. He asks you what has been going on and what you have done. Then the treatment was based on that. But, the massage was terrible and they never quite figured out how to bill it so I had to pay extra.
I found another chiropractor after a car accident that I thought was amazing after my first visit. They did a lot of fancy tests and asked a lot of questions. The massage was and still is (if I went back) great. The problem is that I was only going for the massage because the chiropractor was too rough.
The chiropractor that I went to yesterday and the massage was fantastic. I had the massage first. She was great and worked on me based on what I said and what she found. Then, she told Dr. Ron (the chiropractor) what she found, which is that I had a lot going on in my Rhomboids. He talked to me for quite a while including other things like diet and exercise. He adjusted my back in new ways as well as traditional and I feel great. Also, Dr. Ron did not try to get me back in 2-3 times a week. He told me things to do after the treatment and to call when I felt I was ready to come back. I can call 24 hours a day on his cell phone too.
Crazy! This is a definite recommendation.
