Update on Vindale.com

Hello to all.

I wanted to do two things to a post I did regarding some paid surveys. First of all, the whole paid survey thing is NOT all it's cracked up to be! I spent hours filling out form after form to different survey sites that were offered once I paid for them. I have not received one single survey from any of those. This Vindale survey site is actually the best one I have found paid or not and even it has not turned out to be that great for me. I have been able to try a variety of things such as teeth whitening, acaiburn, an online fax service and a variety of others. If you want to get an American Express (and know you will be accepted) they will pay you $25. No thanks. The problem is that a few of them that I really wanted to try, like a wholesale club for eBay type products, were a bust. First of all, I could not log-in with the information they emailed me. Then, when I tried to call, it was impossible to do and when I did get through, I couldn't understand the person on the other line. Said person, claimed that they would send another email with different sign on information but never did, and they said I would not be charged for another 7 days from that call, which I was. Charged that is. To the tune of $39.95 and $39.99 plus the international service fees of course. And, the overdrawn fees from my bank because of the charges I was not expecting. Add this all up and I sure am glad I got that "free" pan! LOL, barely.

The ones that I had a problem with are mediamogulme.com, eauction.com and myclubrewards.com. If you do sign up with any of the surveys though Vindale, just make sure that you actually print out the confirmations sheets, as well as emails from the different companies. Take great notes too. The time and date that you did each one so that you have something to go back to and remember to cancel everything on time. I have had to go back to Vindale.com with proof of completion to be paid for a couple of them. I did get paid once my balance due was over $50. They pay either by check or through PayPal, with the latter being the quickest way, on the 15th and last day of the month.

The other thing I want to say that I did not realize I should have in the beginning, and for this I apologize, is that if anyone does click on the Vindale block on my blog and sign up, I will be paid $5 for a referral fee. This does not mean however, that they get a good report for $5. It can be a great thing. I will just have to do more and be more careful if I want to make up for the mistakes.
